The latest WhatsApp app for Windows and MacOS coming soon

  • As you already know, WhatsApp, the most popular chat platform with over two billion users worldwide, can already be used on PCs as a mobile app and as a Web version.
  • However, you already know that you can not be so satisfied with the user interface and features of the web version here. Due to this, the need for a complete WhatsApp PC App that supports desktop has been a concern for many people for a long time.
  • Although a beta version of WhatsApp has already been released for Windows, GSMArena reports that the latest Italian PC App that will soon be optimized specifically for Windows and MacOS, based on some screenshots and GIFs published by the popular Italian website Aggiornamenti Lumia One is said to be unveiled.
  • This will be the theme of Windows 11 with a transparent color panel, which will be notified even when leaving the app.
  • It may take a few seconds to log in to the existing WhatsApp web version, but this new PC app will open and activate in less than a second.
  • It is also reported that this app will also include a drawing feature to support the touch display.
  • The Aggiornamenti Lumia website points out that this PC App is divided into 6 categories: General, Account, Chats, Notifications, Storage, Help, and you can expect to see a traditional light green chat background on WhatsApp.
  • So we can assume that the limitations of using the WhatsApp web version will be avoided with this app and we will be able to know more about this soon.

Adobe provides web versions of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software.

  • Adobe is reportedly working on two world-renowned software versions, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. These web versions allow the above mentioned software to be used through the web browser without having to be installed on the computer.
  • You may recall that TechNew.LK previously informed you about Microsoft's Windows 365 service for cloud PCs. The web version of these two Adobe software is somewhat similar to the Windows 365 service mentioned above.
  • But this only gives us the facility to do a basic edit. Although this cannot be used for complex photo editing tasks, the convenience here is that we have the ability to do photo editing for general work from anywhere.

  • This web version will be able to work with normal PSD Files and AI Files. Adobe has said it will add a new Feedback Panel to the Photoshop desktop app to review comments.
  • Users will be able to access the beta version of this web version, which will require a membership in Adobe Creative Cloud. Adobe also said it was working on a number of new features for Photoshop.

 Meta Smart Watch

  • There have been various reports on social media that Meta, formerly known as Facebook, is preparing to launch a smartwatch.
  • This image which was released on the internet a few days ago gives an overview of the display, casing and front camera of the Meta Smart Watch.
  • The first thing you see when you look at it is its rectangular design, rounded corners and curved edges. We also see a Control Button on the right.
  • Also, the camera is located at the bottom as a small notch. This is an important point for video calling and taking selfies as well as health features.
  • However, it's a bit hard to expect it to be powered by an OS made by Meta itself, otherwise it could be powered by an operating system like Google Wear OS.
  • So we can expect this Meta Smartwatch in the year 2022 and Tech News will bring you the latest information about this as soon as we receive it.
