Former US President files lawsuit against Twitter seeking restitution of Twitter account..


  • The group stormed the US Capitol Building on January 6, shutting down a number of social media outlets, including former US President Donald Trump's Twitter, for portraying themselves as patriots on social media and exposing some violent ideas.
  • However, Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against Twitter last Friday in Florida, USA, demanding that he restore his Twitter account.
  • He further added that the ban should be amended and that the ban violates Florida's social media law.
  • At the time of filing the case, he had said that many important facts of his political life, important government information and news had been included in his account. It is reported that he had more than 88 million followers when his Twitter account was banned.
  • Twitter has not yet commented on the case and the trial is set to take place in the next few days.
