Microsoft reveals that xCloud Gaming service is now fully powered by Xbox Series X Hardware.

- Microsoft Xbox Cloud Gaming Service (xCloud) is now fully powered by Custom Xbox Series X Hardware.
- Microsoft told The Verge website that the update was recently completed, which will improve both the frame rate and game load time for game streamers through the xCloud service.
- In the last few months, Microsoft has been able to stream xCloud services to 1080p and 60fps streams, but has not yet been able to fully customize the Xbox Series X hardware to deliver 4K streams. It is not clear when this will be available.

- However, they are ready to go beyond Microsoft Mobile Devices and Browsers to extend the use of the Xbox Cloud service to TVs and monitors as well.
- Microsoft is currently developing a specialized Xbox app for TVs that will allow Xbox players to stream games without a console. Standalone streaming devices that you can connect to a TV or monitor are also planned to be released.
- The xCloud Gaming service started out as a way to play games on mobile devices, but with the integration of the Xbox Dashboard and TV, it will take it a step further. Microsoft has also begun integrating xCloud Games with its new Xbox Web Store, and details about its plans to bring xCloud technology to Facebook Gaming are yet to be announced.
- In addition, Microsoft recently expanded its Custom Xbox Series X hardware upgrade to this service, and recently extended the xCloud service to Australia, Brazil, Mexico, and Japan.
